Five Points Gallery is proud to present "What Art Is...Not" by Robert Calafiore Friday, August 25, 2017, at 6:00pm
Defining art is controversial. Whether or not art can even be defined is debatable. Mr. Calafiore will moderate an open discussion with and between the audience. Citing both the work of artists in the world, historic and contemporary and the work within the current Five Points Gallery Juried Exhibition, I hope that we will all express our thoughts. No right or wrong answers, just a fun and hopefully inspiring conversation.
Robert Calafiore received his MFA in Photography from the State University of New York at Buffalo and his BFA in Photography from Hartford Art School. He is Assistant Dean of the Hartford Art School/University of Hartford. Calafiore work is primarily exhibited on the east coast, with his first mid west group show in Denver, CO late last year and his first west coast show to open in Seattle, WA in September 2017.
Gallery Open: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 1-5pm and by Appointment
