​Figure Drawing Workshop: Drawing on the Arts

What better way to capture the human form than from the elegant and graceful figures of dancers. The Nutmeg students will be posing for brief life studies in their chosen dance attire.  Just bring yourself and your supplies to capture this unique opportunity and sketch form at its finest.

WHERE:
The workshop will be held in the first floor dance studio of The Nutmeg Ballet Conservatory located at 58 Main St., Torrington, CT 06790. All arrangements and payments are made through Five Points Gallery. Please call the gallery to reserve a space at your earliest opportunity: (860) 618-7222, visit us Thursday - Sunday, 1-5pm or leave a message. The class is limited to 10 easels.

When:
Two-hour sessions are being offered:
  • April 10, 17 and 24, 2-4pm
(No drawing class March 20, 27 and April 3 due to the dance schedule.)

Cost: $10 per session

  • All ages and skill levels are welcome.
  • Class is limited to ten.
  • Easels are provided.
  • Participants must bring their own drawing materials.
